Personality

Bean is insane, to put it lightly. He's violent, petty, and enjoys watching things explode. Many would think that he doesn't have much of a grasp on reality, though he is more lucid than he gives off. He will not throw bombs at his allies unless he's really just that bored. He views an explosion as being the best way for anything to be destroyed, and so death by ka-BOOM is to him more of a blessing to be bestowed on his friends.

 

Abilities

Physical

Bean is a self-trained master of Tae Kwon Duck, and his kicks are very fast and powerful as a result of his mastery. He also implements his mastery of Explodo-Ryu, or "The way of the explosion", which he developed in order to more effectively toss explosives at things. His accuracy is good, and his pitch is long. Start dancing.

 

Learned

He's quite skilled with all kinds of explosives, and specializes with giant cherry bombs which he hurls at foes (and often what he may consider friends). Though he does possess a fair amount of knowledge about other forms of weaponry, his knowledge is limited (and he commonly refuses to use anything besides explosives). He is also quite well versed in close range combat because mastery in Tae Kwon Duck.

 

Chaos/Sol

Unknown. Probably none.

 

Weaknesses

His bombs can easily be used against him if he's not paying close enough attention (ala Sonic, Espio, and Fang's "shove a bomb into the beak" move made especially for Bean in Sonic the Fighters). He can also be easily manipulated in his insanity.

 

History

Pre-RP

Bean is the son of the once well known hero, Bin the Dynamite, and he was expected to live up to his father's reputation. Though, the apple falls several miles away from the tree in this case. Bean lacked the moral fiber and overall sanity of his father, and discovered a like for explosives, eventually going on to build his own bomb factory. He spent most of his days hiding away in the factory, blowing up most everything that he could find that wasn't essential to it functioning properly (and often those foolish enough to wander near the factory itself).

 

Then one day, he spotted Death Egg II floating in the sky above his factory. Gazing upon the gigantic space base, he decided that it would make a nice explosion and wished desperately to make it on board so he could destroy it. He made his way to the lab of Miles "Tails" Prower, and demanded access to his space ship so he could board Death Egg II and carry out his plans. Unfortunately for him, several others had arrived before him with the same Plan.

 

Sonic, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Espio, Fang, Bark and Tails all had similar plans. And so, a fighting tournament was held to see who would be the one to take Tails' ship to the Death Egg II to bring upon its destruction. Bean ultimately lost to Sonic, after the Hedgehog shoved one of his own bombs into his beak, KOing him and denying him the honor of blowing up Death Egg II.

 

After wards, Bean returned to his factory to find other things to blow up. He still seeks the perfect object to destroy.

 

Post RP

Bean ended up straying away from his factory when he met Andreas and began to lead him toward Westopolis. Along the way Bean ran into Sora and tried to blow him up, and as a result got himself caught in one of his own explosions. Awaking in the hospital he escaped out a window and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Bean supposedly has an endless supply of bombs which he can pull out of the "Hammerspace" where most Sonic characters store their weapons.
