Personality

Mina is quite shy, and has less confidence in herself. Anyone who makes fun of her, she will just take it like a sponge because she can't think of anything or any way to fight back. She’s not much of a talkative person, and prefers to be kept in the background.

 

She's sometimes paranoid around people, mostly those that look too suspicious, like gangster looking people since they're one of the people who picks on her, and will try to be very wary and quiet. She also looks on the bad side of things most of the time. She deny this, saying she's trying to look at things logically, but Mina is only hurting herself.

 

Singing, drawing, and maybe writing, Mina is muti-talented. Sadly, she doesn't have the confidence to believe in them. Though drawing she has a bit more hope in, she would never want to sing professionally, for she believes that she'll end up like most of the those famous singers who perhaps were murdered, end up in drugs, or worse, becoming bald (Mina loves her long hair. Its where she hides in.).

 

She also likes Sonic almost as much as Amy, meaning not to a total obsession. But because of his great status, Mina always feel so small around him, and tends to shy and run away when things get stressful. She's even nervous to ask for his autograph.

 

Though she can act goofy for a bit around those she's comfortable with, and playful. She tends to act a bit geeky, referring to many pop cultures like movies and games, and would probably quote from one.

Large appetite (And it seems she has a fast metabolism.)

 

Snake mode - No one knows why she has this. Some say that she got scared by a snake by a child, and was scarred for life. Some say its a evolution disorder. Whatever the reason, when ever she sees a snake, or anything like it, she acts like a real but rapid mongoose, and attacks the said snake or anything that threatens her. When her snake target is gone, she will escape from those she sees threatening. This mode, she is incredibly good at hiding, making her difficult to catch.

She has incredible speed and agility, but she cannot control this normally, and she doesn't remember what happened during this mode. The only way to snap her out of this is to either tire her out, or calm her, but only after she is done with the snake-target. Even in this mode, she may recognize her friends, which could help calm her.

Chaos/Sol

Mongoose speed: With an emerald in possession, Mina can reach the speeds of over 400 mphs. Sadly, she can't control the speed; She can't stop without tripping.

 

 

Weaknesses

Very shy and afraid to stand up for herself. But since she keeps her feelings to herself, if pressured so much, she would lash out, letting her anger blind her.

 

She also can't resist snakes, which triggers her snake-mode.

 

History

Pre-RP

Living in the huge city of Westopolis, Mina is just an ordinary anthropomorphic girl. The typical less-popular girl in high school, being the butt of everyone’s jokes. Why? Because of her 'snake-mode' she became the circus-freak of class. Being picked on a lot resulted her with less-social skills, and she spends much time at home. At home, she draws, dreams about being a strong woman who no one messes with, or meeting her true love, or being just like Sonic.

 

Like Amy but not as extreme, Mina is a big Sonic fan. She admires him not just for his looks, but for his seemingly unlimited courage, the way he stands up to danger like it’s no big deal, runs across the land freely with nothing holding him back. How she wishes she was like that, but here she is stuck at home, where she’s the living punching bag, and only her low confidence holding her back. She wishes she was strong like Sonic, then her bullies will be sorry.

 

During the Black Arms invasion, she and her friends tried to escape to safety, but Mina was captured by them. Though her friends rescued her the minute she was caught, it didn't do well for her rep, as the kids in school picks on her more because of that. She was ashamed that she couldn't defend herself while her friends saved her like they always do.

 

She wishes to be stronger...and rid of her 'snake-mode'.

 

Little does she realize that she has the potential. Much like Sonic, she's gifted with great speed (Not as great as Sonic's mind you.), even though an emerald can only unlock it. Also, her 'snake-mode' could help if she can learn to control it.
