Personality

Rotor is very friendly, and most of the time, polite. He comes off as calm and laid back, and can be very analytical when the time comes for techological aid. He's not really much of a nerd though, as he still speaks what Sonic would consider "normal". Rotor loves to please, and he knows how to do it best by helping the Freedom Fighters build their arsenal and defensive measures. Although, if something goes wrong that his gizmos can't fix, or someone begins to overpower his team, he tends to become a worrywort; nervous about what will happen next. It is in extreme cases of chaos where he panic's and retreats. And while he's generally cool and collected, Rotor is known to have a slight temper, and can get pretty angry when annoyed by someone, such as the clumsy Antoine.

 

Abilities

Physical

Adept at swimming in cold water due to being a walrus. He's also pretty... thick, so to speak, and so is more durable than the other freedom fighters. He's less prone to cold weather, and can snow/ice-sled on his own belly.

 

Learned

Rotor has technological knowledge, and is very much a scrap artist. He can take pretty much any mechanical scrap and turn it into something useful. He's also a very good mechanic an pilot.

 

Weaknesses

Rotor's pretty fat, and as such he's pretty slow and cumbersome in battle. He relies on his machines too much sometimes, and to strangers he often looks like the awkward geek teenager who's trying his best to fit with the "in" crowd. His closet is also a weakness, since he is very disorganized. Sometimes he overthinks things, and is somewhat of a coward (though not as bad as Antoine).

 

History

Pre-RP

While Rotor lived with his own mom and dad, he often visited Sonic and his other friends while being baby-sitted by Rosie or Uncle Chuck. Rotor seemed to admire Uncle Chuck, and as such developed mechanical skills at an early age. After the coup and the kids were relocated to Knothole, Rotor's tinkering became an asset as they grew up.

 

Pre-Adoption

One day, Sonic needed to talk to Rotor for a moment. After the Little Planet fiasco, Sonic wanted Rotor to take Tails along Rotor's trip to a broken down hoverpod, which the walrus reluctantly agreed to. Along the way, they run into a group of Lower Mobius freedom fighters, who Rotor did not recognise, and so threatened them with a bomb... which in actuality was him bluffing with a coffee thermos.

 

After realising they were from Lower Mobius, Rotor became much more friendly to them, even offering sandwiches to a starving Ray, though dismissed their request to lead them directly to Knothole. Instead, he lead them to a place nearby and brought Sally to see what should be done with them. With Sally's approval, Rotor led Mighty, Ray, and Honey to Knothole, via a new elevator system.

 

After that was done... he waved at Bunnie. How exciting.

 

Post Adoption

Crossover RP: Pre-Adoption

 

Rotor had just left his hut when he was 'assaulted' by what he thought was a 'zombie', though it was actually Rail from the Sega world. After running away from the 'zombie', Rotor was sucked into a mysterious vortex of color... and reappared above Tails' Workshop, crashing through the roof and into the seat of the Tornado 2. Unfortunately he got stuck, though was soon rescued by a pig native to his own dimension. After rummaging through the workshop and finding very advanced technology and blueprints, Rotor nearly had a heart attack when he saw that this place belonged to 'Tails', which confused him utterly. After studying a map, Rotor began to suspect he was on another planet, fueled further by the fact that he soon saw the Tails from his world walk to the workshop... following another Rotor. When Tails said that the other Rotor was an evil clone, the walrus became very protective and tried to get Tails away from Rotor and Barby the Koala, all the while growing more convinced that this was an alternate reality.

 

Then Antoine appeared, shrieking like a banshee.

 

And then Swat Bots appeared. So Rotor began fighting against the Swats, trying to protect Tails.

 

Then Sonic appeared, along with Metal. Rotor of course freaked out and went to hide, and ended up getting portaled once again.

Affiliates
Sonic the Hedgehog	That cool blue dude with a 'tude. Rotor envies his heroic status somewhat, but wouldn't want to be in the hedgehog's shoes. Rotor thinks he's a little too hot-headed.
Sally Acorn	Not only does Rotor view her as the leader of the freedom fighters, he also values her input on any inventions and plans that come up between the two. He thinks Sally should take a break sometimes.
Uncle Chuck	Sonic's roboticized uncle who's an asset in their missions. Rotor idolizes him and thinks of him as a mentor. Rotor wishes he'll be as smart as Chuck one day.
Antoine D'Coolette	A good childhood friend, though somewhat of a basketcase, clutz, and doofus. Rotor often tries to keep Antoine out of trouble, or, as is more often the case, help the coyote get OUT of trouble.
Tails the Fox	A kid fox who Rotor sees potential in with the field of mechanics. Like everyone else, he thinks Tails is adorable, though acknowledges the kit's growing intellect and keen insight.
Bunnie Rabbot	Another good childhood friend, their relationship began to grow even more as of late, with Bunnie's robotic limbs being the catalyst.
Dulcy	Kind-hearted dragon, though very clumsy with her landings. Rotor always tries to give her a helping hand.
Dr Robotnik	FAT JERK. Rotor would like to turn him into a can opener for what he has done not only to Mobius, but to the world of mechanics.
Snivley	Thin jerk. Not much else.
Griff the Goat	Leader of the Lower Mobius freedom fighters.
Knuckles the Echidna	Guardian of Little Planet. Not much else yet.
Mighty the Armadillo	Nice guy who was trying to take care of an orphaned Ray.
