Personality

Rotor’s the type who’s not that interested in outside life, and finds that his workshop and his love for inventions and science is all that he needs. Though he’s quite easygoing, his curiosity can get him in trouble sometimes, as well as most of his inventions. When ever he sees a interesting piece of machinery, he would always try to tinker it, even if he found anything built by Eggman. And he doesn’t talk much, expect when it comes to his latest invention, which he’s always excited about and can’t wait to show to his friends.

He finds it sad the world's greatest mind is a evil mad scientists, and believes his technology could do great things for the world.

History

Pre-RP

Being a walrus, of course he had to come from an icy land. But after when his mother got a job in the main lands, he and his family moved to Westopolis. Rotor loved machines since he was little; perhaps took after his father who was a mechanic. Back home, he used to collect junk on the streets, like soda cans, broken toy parts, and such, and try to put them together into something new. Now in Westopolis, while his mother worked at some business company, his father worked in a local auto garage that also collect part from the junkyard to make cars in their spare time, and his father would allow Rotor to the junkyard, or give him parts.

Though his talents didn’t make him Mr. Popular in school, for a lot of his projects blows up in his face. Plus those embarrassing moments with his failed inventions attracted bullies. So he didn’t have the courage to make friends, since they probably weren’t that interested in tech stuff, and he always hid in his personal workshop, in an abandoned airplane shaft close to the junkyard (Probably there used to be an airport where the junkyard is built.).

During the beginning of his sophomore year, he was assigned to tutor two young girls who weren’t doing very well in their grades; Mina the Mongoose and Barby the Koala. He was quite surprised that they were interested in his work, and in no time became fast friends. With Mina, he had a kindred spirit when it comes to their ‘love’ for social stuff like parties and such. But Barby won’t take their no for an answer. They been a lot together, going on misadventures in the city, even hiding in his workshop during the Black Arms invasion. As a matter of fact, when they tried to fleet to the workshop, Rotor took down one of the Black Arms foot-solders and took its weapon, and he’s still tinkering it as we speak. (He couldn’t resist looking at alien technology).

 

Post RP

Rotor's friends, Mina and Barby, went to Station Square to check out the Mystic Ruins, but as usual, he remained home in his lab. During his bike ride, he found shattered remains of two badniks. Curiosity taking over, Rotor brought them over to his lab and fixed them, hoping he can study more of Eggman's technology. Sadly, the two bots, Scratch and Grounder, were brought online by themselves and escaped to find their master.

 

But his air-bike crashed in the ocean, where he met Wolivier the Wolf and Kiki, saving them from drowning. While Woli was fine, Kiki swallowed too much of the polluted water, that was still covered in oil thanks to Dr Finitevus. Treating the chao in a nearby Chao Garden, they ran into Sora The Dragon who was having a 'Shadow' flashback; Something about his past leads to some lab in Never Lake. Rotor gladly accepted to help, since this lab may hold some interesting devices for him to tinker, and he has a bit of a crush on Woli.
