Personality

Perhaps the one quality that stands out the most about Rix is his loyalty - loyalty to his country and royal family. He is sincere and open, and has a good sense of humor. His energy and tenacity is boundless, and if there's anything he doesn't lack, it's initiative. However, he will always try and do what he feels is the best thing to do - regardless of his orders. However, since this usually is for the benefit of his lords, he is not often reprimanded and his judgment is considered sound.

Abilities

Physical

Has the ability to generate channel electricity though his body - he can shock anything he touches, or send bolts of electricity traveling between him and a target up to 20 feet away. He can curl into a ball and attack opponents like Sonic the Hedgehog can, though he lacks the spin dash and homing attack. He can use static cling to attach himself to walls and ceilings, allowing him to jog up them with less than the usual required speed. However, it's hard for him to use his other abilities while he does this, and he still can't stand on a wall without moving.

He can attack the best after he's built up a charge, which he usually does by moving. Feeling extreme emotion can add to this as well.

Learned

He will on occasion fight with a halberd, which he charges his electricity into for added damage. He is skilled with this weapon, but not amazingly so.

He has developed two 'special attacks' that utilize his powers - one is the Flash Arrow, in which he focuses a bolt of electricity into a self-sustaining projectile, which while not instantaneous and much slower than a bolt of lightning, has a greater range.

The second is the Volt Tackle, in which he curls into a ball and hurls himself at his opponents, utilizing his electric current as kinetic power and allowing him to keep on moving until he loses his charge, bouncing against enemies and obstacles without slowing down.

Chaos/Sol

Sol Storm - Summons lightning bolts from the sky to attack his opponents.

Sol Surge - Rix acquires a huge electric charge, making him move twice as quickly as normal. From his perspective, this would seem like time slowing down.

Using the Chaos Emeralds would likely make Rix act contrary to his normal behavior.

Weaknesses

If Rix comes into contact with any substantial amount of water, he will lose his electric charge and won't be able to use it again to its full effect until he is dry. He cannot attack anything made of rubber or any other non-conductor.

History

Pre-RP

Having accidentally activated his hidden talent on more than one occasion, Rix was always avoided as a child, viewed as something of a hazard to those around him. People would always keep their distance, and nobody dared shake hands with him. This caused Rix to feel somewhat detached from the world around him, not bitter or angry, but having a sort of sense of being unwanted - he remained a very soft spoken child, very shy and avoidant of people.

This changed one day when he heard reports that an attack on the royal family was thwarted by the young Princess Blaze the Cat, who revealed herself to have an innate control over fire. Though this caused many people to be wary of Blaze, Rix was ecstatic, feeling as if he had found a friend in this wide, empty world. He devoted hours upon hours focusing his electric powers, hoping to harness them as a tool for good.

This new sense of purpose gave him an immense and unrelenting respect for Blaze and the Soleanna Royal Family - so much so that he made it his life goal to serve them. He eventually proved his loyalty (and the effectiveness of his powers against robots) in a battle with Dr Eggman Nega's minions, and was knighted into the Soleanna Kingdom's royal guard. He continues to serve them to this day.

Misc. Info

His back spines are actually held together by static cling. If he were to get wet and have his charge diffused, they'd look more like Sonic's.
